I AM LAKEITHEA NICOLE
Lakeithea Anderson is the owner of L.Nicole Creative Company, a new local company in Nashville. After spending over 6 years’ in fashion blogging, research and PR Lakeithea developed a profound love of working alongside rising talent and brands.
Starting her career with Culture Shock Magazine, Lakeithea quickly rose to Executive Editor and Fashion Director of the online magazine. Taking her task on with passion and determination allowed her to work alongside Editor-in-Chief, Tatiana Johnson to truly give college students a platform for all things fashion, music and culture. Culture Shock Magazine is where she learned the diversity of the fashion community and the role it played in everyday life, music careers and it how it helped to give a sense of who a person truly is.
Being able to grow within her position and learn hands on helped Lakeithea navigate her career and experience life changing opportunities all before even graduating college. In 2008 that BIG life changing experience came from attending New York Fashion Week with Tatiana Johnson and Kristain Miller of Culture Shock Magazine. The inspiration and work that was showcased before, during and after that Fashion Week set the mark for Lakeithea to move forward.
The most important thing she remembered from that trip was the last event she attended, The Ebay Fashion, New York Fashion Week closing party. Sitting at the event she remembers thinking that she has to help others in her shoes get to places like this, it was her dream and now her reality.
After spending years with Culture Shock Magazine, Lakeithea started the fashion blog, The Fabulous Life. The Fabulous Life was her starting point at really getting a chance to branch out and see how new brands worked and how they grew in this new digital, social media marketing craze. Her taste for developing and seeking ways to reach an audience gave her the edge to connect and showcase those brands.
Lakeithea always said owning an agency was not in her plans and happen to be blessed with the opportunity after connecting with her purpose in life and the experiences God allowed her to go through in her career and life. After fully giving herself to the local talent of Nashville focusing on job placements, resume coaching, press release writing, brand consulting and more Lakeithea gathered her knowledge and drive and hit the streets of Nashville hard to start the agency.
Over the last year and a half Lakeithea has spent her time perfecting her agency, casting and booking talent for local Tennessee music videos, short films, photo shoots and runway shows.
he also has her own set of Talent signed to her agency. Lakeithea enjoys bringing creative ideas and new marketing approaches to her clients and watching them grow. She is well-rounded in her skill of building brands whether that brand is a whole company or an individual.
One thing Lakeithea has done in her career that she is most proud of is using Fashion to give back to the community. This year she teamed up with her Best Friend and founder of the new organization Second Chance , Brittany Montgomery to provide free prom dresses for young girls, she has also started collecting clothing to donate to children and personal styling has been her heart and soul of her company since the day it started. Helping women find their own personal style, learning to love themselves and their shape.
Lakeithea earned her Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandise with a minor in Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University.
